Asia Argento grew up in Rome Italy. Her family is comprised of actors and she herself has been working in both fields. In 1985, she made her debut in Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni. In 1988 the film of Michele Soavi's The Church was directed by Michele Soavi and she played part of the character Cristina Comencini's Zoo. Red Wood Pigeon, directed also by Moretti in 1989, was her character in the role of Nanni Moretti's little daughter.
